Fluidized-Bed Granulation / Spray Granulation:

The flow and processability of APIs or powders can be increased by fluid bed granulation or spray granulation process. Typically, suitable solvent with or without a binder will be sprayed onto a fluidized powder bed under optimized process conditions to enhance particle aggregation and size. The increase in particle size, and improvement in bulk density help in enhancing the flow of granules and make it suitable for encapsulation or tablet compression operations.
